ShuffleIt™ is developed and published by ICDRIVE LLC. The application is designed with a privacy first philosophy, meaning your music library and listening activity remain private on your device.
This Privacy Policy explains how ShuffleIt™ handles device permissions, local processing, and optional diagnostic reports.
By using the ShuffleIt™ application, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
ShuffleIt™ does not collect, store, or transmit personal data for account creation, advertising, or user profiling. All app settings and playlists are stored locally on your device.
To ensure app stability, we use Google Firebase Crashlytics to monitor for technical errors and crashes. This technical data is used only to identify and fix application issues; it is not used to identify you and is not linked to your personal identity.
Because ShuffleIt™ does not require account creation or collect personal user data, there is no personal data to delete. All local app data can be cleared at any time via your device's app settings.
All app functionality, including shuffle history, Banish lists, and our trademarked Universal No Repeat tracking, is processed entirely on your device.
This information is stored locally and never transmitted to external servers.
ShuffleIt™ requires the READ_MEDIA_AUDIO permission (Android 13+) or READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission (older Android versions) in order to locate and play audio files stored on your device.
These permissions are used only to access your media library and audio files for playback features. Your files are never uploaded, and they are never scanned for marketing or advertising purposes.
ShuffleIt™ is an offline first app with no user accounts. App data remains on your device.
If you uninstall the app, local app data is deleted from your device by the Android operating system.
If you contact support by email, you may request deletion of support correspondence by emailing support@shuffleit.app.
ShuffleIt™ plays and processes audio files that already exist on your device. The app does not provide or distribute music content.
Users are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use, modify, or create ringtones from any audio files stored on their device. ShuffleIt™ does not monitor or control the source of these files.
To provide high quality support for local audio, ShuffleIt™ uses Google Firebase Crashlytics. If the app crashes, anonymous technical data, such as device model, Android version, and the specific line of code that failed, is transmitted automatically to help us fix the issue. This data is not linked to your identity and does not include your music files. You may also manually contact support at support@shuffleit.app for assistance.
Because ShuffleIt™ does not use user accounts or cloud storage, all app data remains on your local device. All local app data can be cleared at any time via your device's app settings, and uninstalling the application removes all local app-specific data. To request the removal of any support emails you have sent us, please contact support@shuffleit.app.
ShuffleIt™ is designed to function entirely offline. The app does not communicate with external servers unless you choose to open external links or manually contact support.
This privacy policy primarily applies to the ShuffleIt™ Android application. The ShuffleIt™ website does not collect personal data and does not use tracking cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers. The website also does not require user accounts or collect visitor information.
ShuffleIt™ is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support communications, please contact us and we will delete it.
This privacy policy may be updated periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
ShuffleIt™ is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive to ensure the application functions reliably, ICDRIVE LLC makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted operation, compatibility with all devices, or the absence of errors.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ICDRIVE LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use the ShuffleIt™ application, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of music files, device malfunction, or other technical issues.
Users are responsible for maintaining backups of their personal data and media files.
If you have questions about this policy, you can contact us at support@shuffleit.app.
